Electrical Engineer - Compliance Job

Your New Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate new product certifications to UL and CSA standards with 3rd part test labs.
  • Perform UL product qualification tests, write reports, and present results to project teams.
  • Maintain, Update and follow ISO17025 lab procedures to comply with CSA and UL data acceptance program requirements.
  • Work with R&D engineers throughout the product development process to communicate regulatory requirements that are applicable to their product designs and applications.
  • Setup and facilitate design review meetings with 3rd party agencies and Osram engineers.
  • Manage and communicate regulatory certification timelines to product managers.


What We Look For:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience and knowledge of UL standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional groups.
  • A highly self-motivated, passionate individual, comfortable delivering to a deadline in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient at setting up, maintaining, and utilizing lab equipment especially Oscilloscopes, Power Analyzers, Dataloggers, and AC/DC Power Supplies.
  • Laboratory automation experience (e.g. using C/C++, VB6, VB.NET, LabView, Python).
