Under the supervision of the National Sales Manager Canada, the Regional Sales Manager (RSM) Canada is responsible for developing and implementing sales plans, both short and long term, which primarily target Holophane Representatives as well as Acuity agents. currently posted across Canada. The target markets are cities, engineering consultants, landscape architects, contractors and electricity distributors.

Business trip

This position requires travel across Canada for 10 to 15 working days per month, not including meetings at the Terrebonne plant.

How you will contribute:

Main responsibilities

Accompany on an ongoing basis the work of Holophane Representatives and Acuity Agents in their work to promote, recommend and monitor lighting projects in which Cyclone products could be selected.

•             Develop and implement strategic sales plans and forecasts in order to achieve the company's sales objectives.

•             Establish the sales budget by territory.

•             Ensure that Cyclone products are recommended on the plans and in the construction specifications during calls for tenders.

•             Represent the company at trade shows to promote the products.

•             Meet with key clients, negotiate, and close deals.

Qualified Applicants will have:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, or an equivalent number of years of experience.
  • Between 7 and 10 years of similar experience in lighting management (with progression), budget development and supervision.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
  •  Knowledge of SalesForce.com software would be an asset.
