Job Summary

Reporting to the Inside Sales Director, the Customer service representative ensures technical and commercial coordination with the external sales representatives as well as with distributors, contractors, and engineers. He(she) establishes and maintains a relationship of trust with internal and external customers by offering high quality services.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

•    Follow assigned sales procedures as it relates to entering sales orders, sales order processing, follow-up and delivery.
•    Act as the order owner throughout the lifecycle of an order, main responsibilities from order reception to production release. 
•    Act as a go-to person for the sales representatives to solve customer and order issues.
•    Responsible for tracking the entire order process from bid request to quote, to order entry.
•    Prepare quotes in close collaboration with sale reps and issue pricing throughout the sales channel.
•    Work closely with Sales Management to understand customer order expectations, product configuration, requested delivery dates, pricing etc.
•    Communicate with customers, verbal and written communication via email and phone.
•    Keeps all key players informed of all changes in status of their sales orders including, lead time, shipment, and delivery.
•    Work with people in production and shipping to provide accurate and timely information to customers

Experience (minimum experience required)

Requirements:
•    College Degree in administration or relevant experience
•    2-3 years of experience in customer service in the manufacturing sector, direct sales with municipalities or with contractors.
•    Experience in a manufacturing company preferably in the field of lighting or working with a technical product would be an asset
•    Bilingualism essential spoken and written  
•    Office Suite
•    Microsoft Dynamics AX would be an asset
