About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll work cross-functionally with colleagues in marketing, product, sales, and design. The ideal candidate is a rockstar storyteller with strong project management skills and the flexibility to support our overall marketing strategy as needed. 

This role sits within a growing team dedicated to a better built environment within key verticals such as higher education, aviation, hospitality, healthcare, and more. 

 

  • Execute and contribute to Atrius’ content marketing strategy
  • Create and write content for a variety of marketing programs and communications such as but not limited to blog posts, guides, emails, white papers, social media, and website content.
  • Create your own well-researched content quickly, experimenting with format and tone to optimize for traffic and engagement
  • Own the content calendar (blog, social media, email newsletters), including scheduling, publishing, distribution, tracking success and areas of improvement.
  • Manage the editorial process, sourcing and managing external and internal writers as needed
  • Grow our presence on Twitter and LinkedIn with smart, engaging content that creates a conversation with our community. Support the overall strategy for social media.
  • Ensure that messages are supportive of and consistent with Atrius marketing strategies
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to analyze content performance while using data to iterate and maximize future results.
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail for writing best practices including editing, flow, grammar, and punctuation.

What You'll Be Doing:

Content Development

  • Create content for a variety of marketing programs and communications such as but not limited to blogs, guides, emails, white papers, social media, and website content 
  • Manage the content editorial process including sourcing and managing external and internal writers or subject matter experts
  • Manage the content calendar to enforce timely scheduling, publishing, and distribution of a variety of marketing assets 
  • Maintain a high level of attention to detail for writing best practices including editing, flow, grammar, and punctuation
  • Campaign Support

Marketing Events:

  • Serve as the day-to-day contact between the Atrius team and Acuity Brands’ events team to keep us on track on deliverable timelines and status updates 
  • Provide options for event marketing experiences and make recommendations that align with our goals and objectives
  • Own the development of marketing material for events

Digital Marketing

  • Support our social media strategy by maintaining a consistent calendar of timely, relevant content 
  • Assist with the successful execution of digital programs tied to product launches, public relations, and general marketing campaigns 

Project management

  • Manage timetables, vendors, internal resources, deadlines, and budgets tied to projects
  • Track related key performance indicators (KPIs), report out findings and play an active role in improving our overall marketing strategy

Qualified Applicants will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or journalism
  • 3+ years of experience in a marketing role
  • 3+ years of experience writing results-driven copy
  • Demonstrates teamwork and excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
  • Strong research skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to articulate complex subject matter in a straightforward, concise, and easily digestible manner for various audiences
  • Knowledge of B2B or B2C content marketing, trends, and best practices
  • The ability to juggle multiple projects with tight deadlines, while being flexible to accommodate shifting schedules
  • A self-starter mindset able to work in a remote work environment with strong communication skills, both written and verbally
  • Excellent project management and documentation skills
  • Experience within the building management industry a plus
  • HTML and Wordpress experience a plus
  • Pardot and Salesforce experience a plus
  • Experience with project management tools (Asana, Jira, etc) a plus

Travel Requirements

  • 1-20%
