Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Focus Factor Cell Leader (FFCL) to join our team in Ontario, CA. The position is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations in the distribution center, focusing on leadership, coaching, and staff development to ensure adherence to processes, safety standards, quality control, effective communication, cost management, and productivity targets.
This position works on-site full-time in Ontario, CA.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Providing strong leadership to the distribution center team, fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
- Coaching and mentoring team members to enhance their skills and capabilities, promoting professional growth and development. Ensuring distribution center processes and procedures are followed consistently, with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Identifying opportunities for process optimization and implement changes to streamline operations and improve productivity. Monitoring key performance indicators to track process performance and make data-driven decisions to drive operational excellence
- Supervise 8-50 employees in a Lean Manufacturing Environment.
- Determines Daily Manpower and work assignments for employees to adjust for fluctuations in demand.
- Championing a culture of safety awareness and adherence to safety protocols and regulations throughout the distribution center. Conducting regular safety inspections and audits, addressing any hazards or concerns promptly to mitigate risks and prevent accidents.
- Approves payroll and administer correct actions.
- Facilitating clear and open communication channels between management, team members, and other departments, ensuring alignment of goals and objectives.
- Fosters a collaborative and inclusive work environment where ideas are valued, and feedback is encouraged.
- Optimizes resources and control costs within the distribution center, including labor, inventory, and equipment, to achieve budgetary goals.
- Monitoring expenses and variances, implementing corrective actions as needed to ensure financial targets are met.
- Developing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members, ensuring they are equipped to perform their roles effectively.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a distribution center or warehouse environment.
- Strong understanding of distribution center operations, including processes, safety regulations, quality control, and inventory management.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
- Proficiency in data analysis and use of warehouse management systems (WMS) or similar software.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

The range for this position is $58,900 to $106,000. Final compensation will be determined depending on the selected candidates' location and experience.
