About this Role

 

We are seeking a talented Sr. Product Management leader that will drive the strategy and delivery of several new Atrius applications within business use cases across the retail market. You will work with world-class customers and develop from an incredible set of IP new applications, setting the product vision and roadmap and partnering with Engineering to develop the core technologies that power our applications. 

How you will contribute

 

A consummate collaborator who is an expert in working cross functionally. You are comfortable in ambiguity and able to quickly distill problems down to their core to come up with scalable and effective solutions. You have a strong analytical mindset to be able to take a data driven approach to decision making. 

 

  • Build empathy with our customers and translate their pains and needs into detailed feature requirements and product specifications.
  • For a portfolio of products within the retail market, lead the team through ideation, development and launch of innovative products, develop and implement a strategy for the portfolio consistent with the company vision, maintain a 12-month roadmap and release plan. 
  • Work closely with executive leadership through strategic planning and quarterly business updates to both create and maintain buy-in for product investments. 
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, corporate and product marketing to develop, maintain, and advance GTM plans and collectively deliver on the roadmap.
  • Develop deep expertise about your market segment and become the trusted resource for the business on market size, trends, problems, users, penetration strategies, competition, etc. Be able to properly judge market timing, shifts, and changes to find and plan opportunities for expansion to adjacent markets.
  • For new products or major new capabilities, work directly with sales and solutions to locate, develop and sign the first few paying customers. For existing products, develop and maintain customer relationships up to and including the advisory board level. 
  • Work cross-functionally on packaging and pricing strategy.
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships for your product segment, such as platform and integration partners, GTM partners, etc. 
  • Across the portfolio, manage development backlogs, coordinate and align releases, oversee product management processes, ensure products and releases are launched correctly and on schedule.
  • Where required, be hands-on and willing to step in and work at any level of the organization to ensure success. 
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering leadership and business leadership to prioritize in areas of shared and matrixed responsibility.
  • Manage and report consistently against standard, tracked product KPIs.
     

Qualified Applicants will have

 

  • A combination of 10+ years of proven work experience with a minimum of 6 years in product management
  • 3+ years of experience participating in and/or leading Agile processes
  • Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies, effectively communicate recommendations to executive leadership, lead those strategies through execution of their product lifecycle
  • Experience within the retail market, specifically B2B (B2C is a plus) 
  • Bachelor's degree from accredited institution, graduate degree preferred
  • Product Management Certification or Training 
  • Agile Certification or Training
