New product development, sustaining of the continuously growing product portfolio and secure the leadership position with the creation of new technology are the three main challenges the development team faces.


We are looking for a Manager Product Market that loves to work in this challenging environment.


A Product Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and managing product management activities to provide optimum sales and profits to the organization. He/She will be translating a product portfolio/marketing strategy into an operational business plan and activate the same by working with various stakeholders and ensure business offerings are in line with market requirements. The position reports to the Director Product Market.


The specific day-to-day job duties of the Product Marketing Manager position includes:


  • Market intelligence – be the expert on your customers, how they buy and their buying criteria; be the expert on your competition and how to gain a competitive advantage over them by solving customer problems
  • Communicate product strategy, plans and roadmaps
  • Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates your products in the market
  • Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by on-going visits to customers and non-customers
  • Conduct competitive analysis to determine product features and pricing. Translate customer feedback and market trends into clearly defined phased releases
  • Sales enablement – communicate the value proposition of the products to the sales team and develop the sales tools that support the selling process of your products
  • Product launch – plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan
  • Develop and implement a company-wide go-to-market plan, working with all departments to execute
  • Ability to generate high quality sales aids such as product guides, press releases and web content
  • Demand generation – develop the strategy and manage the marketing programs that drive demand for your products
  • Perform ongoing analysis and propose necessary actions to ensure continued marketability of the product line
  • Run and project manage all the necessary operational duties to deliver on target and objectives especially related to NPIs (new product introductions) including activation, packaging, and positioning


In addition, the Manager Product Market must also possess the following skills:

  1. In-depth understanding of the LED lighting market
  2. Proven experience working with solid state lighting and product management
  3. Proven ability to work and motivate a variety of stakeholders to develop plans and achieve targets
  4. Excellent interpersonal skills and strong verbal skills, both verbal and written, to effectively understand and express complex issues and solutions


The minimum qualifications of the Manager Product Market include a Master’s in Electrical and Engineering, plus at least 3 years  OR a Bachelor's in Electrical and Engineering, plus at least 5 years of proven professional experience in engineering, marketing and/or sales.
