Manager Communications Job

The Manager, Internal Communications will partner with the Supply Chain Organization to help us create an environment where the best people come to do their best work. This role will collaborate with business partners to develop and deliver communications that resonate and support key operations and business objectives including long-term goals and projects that support the employee experience.

 

This individual will be a key contributor in a fast-paced, complex environment and will serve on teams or projects, leveraging communications expertise to drive key initiatives, with a focus on change management and sensitive communications affecting the entire company.
 

Responsibilities for Manager, Internal Communications (based in Mexico)

  • Play a key role in internal content curation and distribution while helping amplify communications from the operations organization.
  • Partner with Operations on change management strategies and tactics with leaders and employees
  • Establish operating process with operations functions to ensure projects and priorities are effectively communicated and measured.
  • Guide storytelling efforts for HR and operations initiatives through the development of compelling campaigns and content.
  • Be a strategic and tactical partner, especially for complicated and sensitive communications affecting the whole company.
  • Manage TEAMS Live Event sessions for operations Q&A events.
  • Lead global launches, events, and other internal activities, with a keen understanding of cultural impact.
  • Create, implement, and oversee communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its internal talent. Creation and development of career recruiting materials, career web site management, content development, and corporate videos.
  • Proactively develop communications bulletins, announcements, news stories, plans or strategies to disseminate key functional initiatives, programs, and events to designated groups of employees to drive adoption, awareness, and engagement. Work with management to ensure communication tone and style are consistent.
     

Skills and Experience Required

  • 7 to 10 years’ experience in a corporate communications function; preferred HR communications or communications agency, communicating with personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Bilingual (written and oral communications English/Spanish)
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, operations, or related field
  • Experience with leading communication campaigns, content editing, communication channels (web, blog, video, email, etc.).
  • Experience communicating using SAP platforms, email management services, and webinar platforms.
  • Exemplary presentation skills and proficiency in the golden rules of slide creation
  • Excellent project management skills and problem-solving skills
  • Experience communicating through significant culture change within a company.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with colleagues of all levels and build cross-functional relationships.
  • Experience collaborating with senior leaders of a company as a trusted partner.
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; understanding of how to develop messages for different audiences; proven experience as an effective storyteller.
  • Organized with an attention to detail and an ability to successfully edit communications and manage multiple projects.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and managing tight deadlines.
  • Creative and willing to do what has never been done; joy for bringing people along with change.
  • Experience drafting senior leader and executive communications programs.
  • Ability to tailor communications for varying audiences
