Job Description

We're seeking a talented and enthusiastic Holophane Vice President with a proven track record in growing lighting and controls sales and managing a team. The Holophane Vice President will ensure the establishment and execution of an overall sales strategy, the development and management of a strong sales force and the identification of new target accounts. This role will manage the North Central territory.


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain current knowledge of company, industry and governmental policies, regulations and codes to make certain our business unit and its employees support these guidelines and requirements.
  • Create go forward business strategy for a growing multi-segment sales channel.
  • This includes understanding of market analytics, product portfolios, and value propositions for multiple specific channels.
  • Build and motivate a high performing organization with increasingly talented individuals that will exceed our company performance goals and enhance customer buying experiences.
  • Train, coach and mentor employees within the department to optimize sales and sales effectiveness. Use industry knowledge and experience to guide employee’s business knowledge.
  • Establish department goals and budgets for sales, expense, finished goods assets, margin and new business development.
  • Identify strategic product and application opportunities within our customer market focus and effectively communicate within our product development organization.
  • Develop strong business relationships with key executive level influences within our existing customer base, prospective customers, venders and channel partners.
Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5 to 8 years of relevant experience is required.
• An understanding of the lighting and/or controls business is preferred.
• Overnight travel required. Percentage of travel based upon geographic needs.
