Sr. HR Specialist (Talent) Job

About this Opportunity

Acuity Brands has an immediate opportunity to work on the Talent Management team partnering with Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Process design and Operations. You will use your knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors (SF) to partner with a dynamic HR team to improve processes and workflow design to meet the business and associate needs. 

About this Team

If you are interested in a team that is connected, collaborative and works remote, this is the role for you!  You will interface with leaders and associates at all levels across the organization as you lead transformative Talent and HR projects, programs and processes. 

How you will contribute:

  • Designing, creating and leading Recruiting, Onboarding, Crossboarding, Offboarding and Performance processes. 
  • Serve as the point of contact for talent solutions.
  • Manage vendor relationships with Talent COE. Process invoices, maintain contract accountability, enhance strategic partnership.
  • Support Acuity Brands University Program initiatives through campus relations, associate relations, talent acquisition, and strategic priorities.
  • Interface with HR business partners and business leaders during performance management process (example: associate calibration process)  to assist with SuccessFactors system capabilities.
  • Provide metrics and trend analysis from data and surveys as capabilities and programs are launched. 
  • Periodically lead new hire orientation and update content to provide a robust experience for new hires

Qualified Applicants will have:

  • 6-8 years of relevant experience
  • 3+ years of experience using SAP SuccessFactors (SF) Talent Management modules
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Critical thinking skills
  • Results oriented mindset
  • High interest in self development and continuous learning opportunities 
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience required
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Minimal travel (up to 20%) may be required for team meetings
  • Sedentary Work – Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking or standing is required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.
