Sr. Manager, Digital Engagement Job

Individual devices include luminaires, lighting controls, lighting components, controllers for various building systems (including HVAC, lighting, shades and access control), power supplies, and prismatic skylights. Among other benefits, intelligent network systems can optimize energy efficiency and comfort as well as enhance the occupant experience for various indoor and outdoor applications, all the while reducing operating costs. Achieving our goals will require a Senior Manager, Digital Engagement who will accelerate the development of Acuity Brands tools and processes that connect us with customers across all Sales channels. The ideal candidate will have experience in product data management – specifically the creation and delivery of product attributes, Marketing assets and any data that drives customer preference, revenue and margin growth. Experience with other electronic customer-connection points such as EDI is desired.  Travel - 25%-30%.

  • (20%) - Evaluate trends, develop strategy and drive continuous improvement to achieve KPI goals
  • (30%) - Drive growth in digital transactions with key customer channels - electrical distribution, digital retail, showroom, and home center customers by enabling transactional ease for targeted customers through superior data delivery and transactional processes
  • (20%) - Supervision & development of the Electronic Data Integration team
  • (20%) - Personal engagement in managing, analyzing and delivering specific data project deliverables to key customers - developing customer-centric solutions
  • (10%) - Daily process engagement/process improvement activities related to overall Sales Operations & Sales Channel processes



  • 5-7 years



  • Bachelor's Degree


Technical Experience

  • Knowledge in eCommerce data delivery
  • Knowledge of current Ecommerce standards and practices
  • MS Access/Excel/PowerPoint
  • Ability to interface with customers
  • Knowledge of Lean Processes(preferred)
  • SQL Knowledge(preferred)
  • Previous Lighting Experience(preferred)


Travel Requirements

  • 25% - 30%
