Sr. HCM Integration Engineer Job

The Acuity Brands Technology group has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. HCM Integration Engineer. The role will be part of the Associate Experience team  and will maintain the integrity and reliability of integrations, data-feeds, and automation between the organization’s HR information systems, ensuring applications meet the needs, requirements, and objectives of the organization.

 

<span class="Heading2Char" style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">How you will contribute:

  • Collaborates with HCM Product Manager and Engineering Manager to thoroughly understand the business needs and requirements of HR information systems and technology.
  • Responsible for development, monitoring, and maintaining of integrations, data feeds, and automation between HR information systems and various platforms and vendor systems.
  • Identifies and provides recommendations regarding evolution of the system, including improvements such as configuration and enhancements to maximize value and efficiency.
  • Researches and analyzes the nature, effect, and results of system challenges.
  • Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy requirements. Satisfies data sampling, project analysis, testing verification, and other data requests from HR information systems.
  • Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS providers, vendors, and technology.
  • Maintains and ensures proper documentation and coordinates or performs testing of system modifications.
  • Follow agile/scrum development methodologies and practices
  • Follows change management governance practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with human resources policies and procedures to ensure the HR information systems meet organizational needs and goals.
  • Ability to keep information confidential.
  • Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system design.

 

<span style="font-family:"Calibri Light",sans-serif">Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field required.
  • 5+ years of experience with HR business systems required.
    • SuccessFactors Integration Center experience required
    • Integrations using SAP Cloud Platform experience required
    • Integration platform such as Boomi, TIBCO, etc. a plus
    • Microsoft .NET/Azure Cloud Development a plus
    • Azure DevOps Project Tracking a plus
  • Experience with SuccessFactors Integration Center and SAP Cloud preferred.
  • Experience with data management tools. ​​​​​​​
