Job Summary

The Brand and Product Marketing Manager for DLN - SensorSwitch™, reporting to the Director of Marketing for DLN, is responsible for creating and assessing the brand and product positioning messages including audience-based communications, promotional programs, and product releases.

 

The Brand and Product Marketing Manager is a curious, productivity-oriented individual with strong project management skills, who leverages data, research, understanding and collaboration to formulate recommendations and drive action plans to on-point messaging, on-time delivery, and on-budget. He/She/They can articulate brand and product value consistently, through asset creation and communication tactics. He/She/They will deliver on company, team, and personal performance objectives by collaborating with marketing, product management, sales and other departments as required

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Brand and Product Marketing

  • Understand and convey brand and product objectives within the lighting controls segment.
  • Manage brand positioning statements and guidelines, to ensure value is communicated to all audiences and highlight end user focus.
  • Execute the product communication launch process, and manage project to delivery of owned, organic, and paid tactics.
  • Assess all related brand and product assets, and execute coordinated updates as required - website, sales enablement tools, and communication tools.
  • Gather input and alignment on messaging to complete the annual calendar of content. Execute all associated owned, organic, and paid tactics.
  • Collaborate on channel programs and related assets, including merchandising.
  • Source opportunities and support sales or product management to ensure brand is correctly represented at events, sponsorships.
  • Conduct interviews and gather input to create project references, testimonials, case studies and thought leadership.
  • Leverage Key Performance Indicators, VOC, market research to identify opportunities and performance enhancements.

Team Engagement

  • Participate, report out and engage in business unit and matrix partner meetings and share with DLN marketing team.
  • Support and possibly lead initiatives for the team or as required by the organization.
  • Identify opportunities for team productivity improvements.

 

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or communication is preferred.
  • 3-5 years proven experience of B2B marketing.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask, detailed oriented.
  • Leverage project management skills to effectively communicate and collaborate.
  • Utilize and stay up to date on marketing best practices.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The range for this position is $59,700.00 to $134,100.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
