Sr. Analyst Sales Operations Job

The Sr. Analyst Business Operations will be responsible for supporting key sales tools and processes, including Salesforce.com (CRM), and for providing insights into industry trends and market opportunities by utilizing business intelligence tools and sales, customer or market data.  The successful candidate will have the ability to continually streamline and improve our tools, analytics and processes -- making recommendations that will optimize our sales processes, effectiveness and intelligence.

 

(40%) -Supports the Sr. Manager of Sales Ops with in-depth analysis using key industry intelligence tools. Creates/maintains best practice documentation and outlines/defines clear direction for how insights/intelligence should be used to drive sales actions. Works with sales and matrix partners to take advantage of marketing tactics and tools that utilize intelligence.

 

(25%) - Assist in managing the strategy and execution of Salesforce.com (CRM) within the Global Sales organization, working with matrix partners to build and leverage the tool to its fullest. Responsible for supporting numerous platform enhancements and for projects such as maintaining/improving data integrity via large scale data improvement projects, defining requirements to IT business partners, building reports and dashboards, monitoring social/community aspects of tool, assisting with 3rd party applications and integrations, assisting with lead routing and opportunity follow-up, creating/maintaining effective documentation for processes and continually streamlining and improving tool.

 

(15%) - Supports the Sr. Manager of Sales Ops with interpreting and analyzing customer, sales and/or market data, etc and conducts market research / VOC to provide insights to sales leadership.

 

(10%) - Supports strategic planning initiatives and ensures operational efficiency and agility across key sales channels.

 

(10%) - Utilizes ABS to drive continuous improvement. Works closely with matrix partners to drive connectivity and operational efficiency. Utilizes, creates and maintains standard work for best practices.

 

 

Required Skills

Superior analytical skills and proven ability to transform information into insights. Proven success in time management and an ability to deliver multiple projects on time and in a fast-paced environment. Superior oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and superior follow-through. Experience with Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint required. Business analysis or strategy role in a distribution/manufacturing company is a plus.

1-3 Years Experience and a Bachelors degree

 

 

Preferred Skills

Superior oral and written communication skills with attention to detail and superior follow-through. Customer-centric mindset. 3-5 years of experience, preferred, ideally in a sales analytics role. Experience with SQL, Microsoft Excel/PowerPoint/Access, Power BI. Business analsyis or strategy role in a distribution/manufacturing company is a plus
