How You Will Contribute:

 

Atrius is seeking a Sales Engineer to join the sales organization. The Sales Engineer is responsible for leading the solution scoping throughout the sales cycle and delivering thought leadership to companies to transform their visitor’s experience and drive building efficiency using Atrius location services products. The Sales Engineer is an experienced person who works closely with colleagues and customers, participates in building our team culture and communicates amongst the Sales and Product teams to create and facilitate solutions for prospects and customers. This person works with the sales team to build, manage and maintain customer relationships and are responsible for the 'technical win' by providing functionally compelling and relevant demonstrations and solutions. Also, this person is responsible for closing the loop by providing customer feedback to the product management and engineering teams to capture customer requirements and enhancements. To successfully accomplish this, you should have a strong desire to set the vision translating business objectives into enticing and actionable recommendations. The Sales Engineer will act as a trusted advisor to our customers while aiding the customer’s success leveraging Atrius solutions. 

Qualified Applicants Will Have:

 

  • 8+ years in a similar role. 
  • Understanding the unique business requirements of customers within multiple industries and translating/presenting those needs into a compelling vision and roadmap for our customers. 
  • Track record of solution engineering, consultancy, delivery or training success for a software solution organization.  
  • Technical experience at the intersection of software and hardware. Specifically, familiarity with modern web and mobile technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Web Components, iOS & Android mobile platforms, others)
  • Experience configuring and presenting software demonstrations that are both functionally compelling and most importantly, relevant to the specific business processes of interest to the customer/prospect
  • Expert knowledge of the complete sales lifecycle with extensive experience responding to sales RFIs / RFPs and configuring software demos at very high levels of quality
  • Capability to translate business requirements into compelling software demonstrations
  • High degree of confidence in presenting software demos and leading technical pre-sales discussions
  • Solid oral, written, presentation and interpersonal communication and relationship skills. 
  • Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills
  • Proven time management skills in a dynamic team environment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to solve problems in dynamic, energizing environments. 
  • Inquisitive, practical and passionate about technology and sharing knowledge. 
  • Likes to be the first to know something and to understand why and how things happen. 
  • Good at searching out information and experimenting, likes to concentrate on a particular topic and to solve puzzles. 
  • Good at explaining ideas and finding ways to keep people’s attention.  
  • Bachelor's degree.
