With a commitment to excellence in inventory management, we are seeking a highly motivated Inventory Planner to join our dynamic Supply Chain Strategy team. As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for managing inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability while minimizing carrying costs and stockouts. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will analyze independent demand, optimize target inventory levels, and coordinate long-term planning activities to support our business objectives. This role offers the opportunity to utilize your analytical skills, collaborate with diverse stakeholders, and contribute to the success of our organization's business operations.

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

  • Utilizing our approved 24mo. plans, determine optimal level of inventory to support service and business objectives    
  • Develop target inventory levels that meet the needs of service levels while maintaining cash flow targets        
  • Continually anlayze and refine inventory planning parameters to improve working capital        
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory management processes        
  • Identify and manage all excess or slow-moving inventory to minimize losses        
  • Obsolete / Excess Management: Implement strategies, tactics and policies to reduce obsolete inventory levels        
  • Analyze inventory performance and identify proposed opportunities for improvement.        
  • Generate reports and dashboards to track inventory performance and key metrics        
  • Implement new initiatives that drive step change performance in our overall inventory objectives        
  • Leverage industry best practices and market research to continually improve our operations

Education (minimum education required)

Bachelor of Arts

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

  • 3 to 5 years experience
  • ERP experience SAP or Oracle 
  • Procurement / Planning Experience        
  • Inventory Management    
  • Lean Manufacturing Knowledge        
  • Demand and Supply Analysis    
  • Mateiral Kanban / MRP Knowledge        
  • Master Data Management    
  • Supply Chain Mangement Expertise        
  • Technology Application and Digitization

The range for this position is $74,700.00 to $167,900.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
