The Role:

As an Product Designer for Atrius, you’ll apply your passion for intuitive product experiences to solve challenging design problems. You’ll help define and implement Atrius’ interaction patterns and motion design language. Every day, you’ll think critically about how product architecture, interaction, flow, and animation reinforce Atrius’ brand, enhance usability, and generate delight for our users.
You’ll engage across all stages of interaction design at Atrius. From concepting to creating realistic interactive prototypes to performing quality control, you’ll help create powerful new applications that are used by some of the world’s leading companies and institutions.
Your role requires strong communication skills and an aptitude for elegant, persuasive, accessible interaction and motion design. The Interaction Designer will report to the Head of User Experience & Design.
 

Responsibilities:

•    Work in collaboration with product and design teams to absorb knowledge, deconstruct and simplify complex workflows, and develop concepts that bring ideas to life
•    Partner with engineering to understand the technical constraints of a project, and successfully translate your designs into production
•    Create sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and design specifications necessary to guide the development of new product experiences
•    Create fully interactive, component-driven prototypes for visioning exercises, user testing, and engineering handoff
•    Help establish interaction patterns and motion guidelines for reuse for desktop, tablet, phone, and more formats to come
•    Work alongside our product design team as a fellow UX design expert, collaborating and facilitating discovery while driving quality product standards
•    Incorporate inclusive and accessible design practices
•    Evangelize the great things we do as a team

Qualifications:

•    5+ years of professional or related experience 
•    A portfolio of meaningful design work that conveys your ability to create successful experiences that people love, and that exhibits your grasp of product design principles, animation principles, and/or visual communication
•    Advanced knowledge of interaction and motion design software tools—such as Figma, Framer, ProtoPie, After Effects, etc.—and other design tools to aid in the process
•    An eagerness to take on big design challenges and continually expand your knowledge about the industry domain
