Director of Sales - Enterprise Solutions Job

This position can be located at our headquarters in our Conyers, GA, where we offer an onsite café, wellness classes and much more!  We are focused on technology, innovation and best-in-class service to our internal and external customers.

You may also be based remotely anywhere in the USA with easy access to a major airport.  Western locations are preferred but not required.

Position Overview

The Director of Enterprise Solution Sales will have the opportunity to lead the adoption, distribution, and commercialization of indoor IoT solutions and services that change the way retailers interact with their customers, improve their top line growth, address operational inefficiencies and determine future business direction and strategies.

 

You will be responsible for creating new relationships and expanding existing relationships with large, multi-location national account customers. You will be working with leading-edge technology and digital wireless solutions that generate new data streams that can answer the questions around what is happening in a retailer’s space. The Director of Enterprise Solution Sales is responsible for achieving sales quota for Acuity’s Atrius platform of software services as well as represent the entire range of Acuity Brand Lighting products.

 

This key position will report to the Vice President of Enterprise Solution Sales.

How you will contribute:
  • Develop strong business relationships with key executive level influences from assigned client base, prospective clients, and channel partners.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal clients to ensure effective communications and performance to plan.
  • Develop strategic business plans which will drive revenue and achieve specific account objectives.
  • Drive on time delivery of RFP/RFQ deliverables as defined by the business and client needs. Work with the deployment teams to help ensure operational commitments to clients are met or exceeded.
  • Provide market-related insights to Acuity’s senior leadership as to current business trends and potential opportunities for new growth.
  • Work with senior sales leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
How you will contribute, continued
  • Teamwork – part of a diverse sales team, implementing Strategy Deployment Goals and recurring SaaS contracts for Atrius technology solutions.
  • Retail Focus – familiarity with retail industry, client base, trends and initiatives. Key dealings with technology, data, and analytics that are generated by using Atrius solutions.
  • New business growth - responsible for developing strategy to expand category and line card w/ existing clients and devising plans to onboard new customers
  • Problem Resolution - minimize conflict between client expectations and Acuity capabilities to balance client needs with Acuity’s current and future solutions.
  • Promote both revenue lift and operational savings technical solutions to a wide client audience. Comfort with different stakeholders is expected and will be supported by the VP of Sales.
  • Dare to lead. If it was the same for all clients, then it would be simple. Exploring different solutions to solve client needs is welcomed and encouraged.
Qualified Applicants will have:
  • Bachelor’s Degree required, MBA a plus.
  • Strong National Account accomplishments; a minimum of 5 years’ experience calling on a major retail account, influencing multiple stakeholders across the organization.
  • Well-developed skills in solution selling.  A demonstrated ability to deliver persuasive presentations to customers as a consultative seller, with the goal of positioning Atrius SaaS to win in the client organization.  Clearly articulate the benefits of this technical concept and the problems it will solve.
  • Accomplishments negotiating business agreements, creating a win-win for Acuity and the client(s).
  • Technical aptitude with experience with wireless products preferred.
  • Strong organization skills with the discipline and drive to work independently.
  • Well-developed project management skills.
  • Experience in Brand Management or Advertising is helpful.
  • Comfort working with a team that is distributed across the US.
  • Ability to travel overnight in North America up to 50%.
