You will direct and oversee all aspects of eldoLED product life cycle management in order to maximize the benefit of each product to the organization. This includes:


Understand general lighting and technology trends

  • Assess the competitive landscape for the products in scope
  • Translate customer and/or market needs into concrete product requirements
  • Develop business cases for new products, services, and/or product/process improvements
  • Define and manage the product roadmap, considering the capabilities of our organization
  • Launch new products
  • Define and manage sustaining product roadmap (i.e. bug/quality fixes, feature upgrades, etc.)
  • Phase out of products


Your primary focus will be on the definition, development, and deployment of LED drivers and associated tooling (e.g. hardware  and software for programming, diagnostics software, factory tooling); other products and/or services (e.g. sensors, network control devices, component tooling) may be added, as needed by the business. 


Lead and direct the work of others either directly or through influence. To be successful, a wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Furthermore, you must be able to build effective relationships to influence others internally and externally.


You will have to rely on your experience and judgment to plan and accomplish your goals, performing a variety of tasks, some of which may not yet have well-defined processes. As needed, you may be asked to define, develop, implement and/or improve processes and associated success metrics to ensure repeatability, scalability, and accountability.

How you will contribute:
  • Collaborate within a global team, which includes Engineering, Technology, Sales & Marketing, and Operations, to deliver and launch new products/solutions that continue to delight customers
  • Execute a comprehensive product launch strategy (e.g. pricing, alpha/beta testing, phase-in/phase-out, etc.)
  • Develop a competitive product roadmap that allows customers to deliver on the promise of LED lighting
  • Provide clear specifications where required (e.g. hardware) but be agile when needed (e.g. software)
  • Define clear metrics to accurately measure and/or predict market success
  • Lead new product initiatives from concept, through development and approval, to launch
  • Champion product quality, define success metrics, and continually drive improvements against those metrics
  • Operate effectively in an agile development environment, with the flexibility to adapt to different development methodologies to deliver solutions across the organization
  • Manage relationships with internal (product teams) and external (ecosystem partners) stakeholders
  • Drive employee engagement and accountability through communication meetings (e.g. lunch and learns, brown bag sessions), roadmap sessions with key stakeholders, and KPI reviews
  • Be the product expert and evangelist, develop product content, and facilitate product training sessions
  • Make decisions for difficult tradeoffs relating to product features, cost, and schedule, working closely with the engineering Program Management Office (PMO)
  • Collaborate with the Executive team on long-term strategy
Qualified Applicants will have:
  • 5+ years in product management, product marketing, and/or technology roles
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Business required; MBA preferred
  • Strong product acumen with an obsession over customer needs
  • Experience leading a cross-functional team with accountability for product delivery
  • Exemplary communication skills with demonstrable ability to identify stakeholders needs and influence decision making
  • Proven experience in managing products across the complete product lifecycle, from initial concept to end-of-life
