Data Analyst - Demand Job

Position Summary:

  • We are searching for a talented Data Analyst - Demand to ensure our company’s operations are timely, efficient, and cost-effective. You will oversee the forecast for multiple brands in our Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) channel. Planning duties will include estimating future product demand, analyzing inventory flow, and developing forecast models.

  • To succeed in this role, you should be professional, highly analytical, and possess excellent communication skills. A successful candidate should also have an in-depth knowledge of forecasting policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy, a high visibility KPI for our team.
  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Manage qualitative forecast elements by driving cross-functional collaboration to obtain relevant data and insights on demand.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Conduct monthly forecast maintenance.
  • Perform root-cause analysis to identify demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, statistics, or other relevant fields. MBA a plus.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a demand planning/forecasting role.
  • Solid understanding of forecasting best practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
