Field Devices Program Director Job

Job Classification:  Semi-Remote

What will be your role?

The Field Devices Program Director will be responsible for the management of our global portfolio of Field Devices. You will have the strategic function of growing sales of Field Devices through our network of system integrators. You will establish and maintain partnership with field device suppliers and system integrators to achieve these goals.

What will you do?

• Manage the Distech Controls Field Devices program offering including phase-in/phase-out of products.
• Manage Field Devices pricing strategy to achieve the top line and bottom-line revenue targets.
• Manage the field devices inside sales team to achieve business results.
• Develop and implement the strategy for the field device program & team.
• Liaise with the marketing and communications team to increase awareness of programs.
• Work with the sales team and the business development team to identify sales opportunities for new and existing products.
• Work with the product management team to add, when required, field devices to our offering to support the launch of new Distech Controls products.
• Work with the HR team to manage team resources.
• Establish strategic partnership with suppliers and customers.
• Manage contract with suppliers at advantageous conditions for Distech Controls.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Lead the eCommerce strategy to ease the ordering and fulfillment of orders.
• Report on field devices performance to executive team and directors.
• Use relevant processes to ensure standards and regional regulations are followed.

Which candidate profile are we looking for?

Qualifications Required:
• University degree or Technical Certificate in HVAC/Controls or any other relevant experience in building automation
• Minimum of 5 years experience in HVAC or Building Automation
• Sales management experience in a business-to-business environment
• Exceptional written, oral communication and presentation skills
• Ability to multi-task and handle various priorities.
• Structured and well organized
• Personal computer proficiency and excels in MS Office Applications
• Proactive, autonomous and demonstrates leadership.
• Resourceful and capable of handling multiple simultaneous tasks
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Bilingual

• Valid passport for travelling

• Knowledge of the BACnet, Echelon LonWorks, Modbus, KNX, or other Control Systems Communication protocols.
• Knowledge of Access Control, CCTV and Lighting Systems.
