Application Support Specialist - Information Systems Job

What will be your role?

We are presently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Application Support Specialist - Information Systems who will work on the support, maintenance and upkeep of business systems solutions, including: Entreprise Resource Planning/ERP, Business Intelligence (BI), Customer Relationship Management/CRM, Intranet (SharePoint), eCommerce, production systems, Microsoft Office 365 and others.
The Application Support Specialist will work within the IS team to ensure an efficient handling of support tickets and participate in systems projects that support the organization’s business processes and meet current industry best-practices.

How you will contribute?

• Manage system incidents reported by users.
• Configure system access rights, privileges for users as required.
• Plan and participate in business systems maintenance work as required.
• Create IS documentation and testing scenarios for users.
• Contribute to the successful deployment of information systems projects.

Qualified Applicants will have:

• Technical certificate (3-yr) or degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience with SQL databases, SQL programming (queries, stored procedures).
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, various operating systems and databases.
• Strong initiative to research new technologies and best practices to improve solutions, systems and processes.
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and under tight deadlines, independently or within a team.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills.
• Fluent in French and English – written and spoken.

• Knowledge or certification in one or more of the following specific systems:
o Infor CloudSuite Industrial (Syteline) (ERP)
o Infor OS, ION, Ming.le, IDM and OCR technologies
o Microsoft Dynamics (CRM)
o Domo (BI)
o Microsoft Azure AD, Sharepoint, Reporting Services
