Join Acuity Brands as a Senior Product Manager and spearhead our Master Data and Reporting strategy within the finance domain. You’ll play a critical role in defining how we manage and govern financial data across the organization, ensuring alignment with business needs and driving innovation through analytics and reporting.
We are seeking a strategic and hands-on leader to define and execute our finance data roadmap. This role will oversee the development of the finance domain model within our data lake and reporting tools, prioritize reporting needs, and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Key Tasks & Responsibilities
- Finance Data Strategy: Develop and lead the Master Data strategy for the finance domain, ensuring that data governance, consistency, and integrity are maintained across all financial systems.
- Data Model Development: Own the build-out of the finance domain model, ensuring it supports the organization’s reporting and analytics needs while being scalable and adaptable to future growth.
- Reporting & Analytics Leadership: Drive the reporting and analytics strategy by prioritizing and delivering on reporting needs. Ensure that financial data is accessible, accurate, and actionable for key stakeholders across the business.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with finance, technology, and operations teams to align the finance data roadmap with broader organizational objectives. Facilitate stakeholder meetings to gather insights and refine data solutions.
- Data Governance & Compliance: Ensure that all finance data adheres to governance frameworks and compliance requirements. Develop and implement processes for managing data changes and maintaining accuracy.
- Performance Tracking: Establish and maintain key metrics (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of financial data management. Use data-driven insights to guide continuous improvements.
- Change Management: Lead change management initiatives to promote the adoption of new data processes, providing training and support to ensure smooth transitions.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks associated with data management and reporting changes. Develop strategies to mitigate risks while ensuring business continuity.
- Thought Leadership: Serve as a subject matter expert in finance data management, staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to drive improvements and best practices.

Skills and Minimum Experience Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Information Systems, Data Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in finance data management, analytics, and reporting.
- Strong understanding of financial systems, ERP integrations, and master data management.
- Proven ability to manage large-scale data projects involving multiple stakeholders and system integrations.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Advanced degree in Finance, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience with cloud-based data lakes, such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Prior experience implementing a finance data domain model across multiple financial systems/ERPs.
- Prior experience implementing a finance master data solution with multiple downstream integrations.

The range for this position is $120,800.00 to $217,400.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
