Job Summary
The National Account Manager lights the way through relationship development with key customers and functions as a true consultative partner to drive sales growth and support strategic initiatives. This role drives action to guide our customers in product and solution architecture, as well as work with internal matrix partners and channel partners to deliver customer needs. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies to achieve maximum sales and profitability of our products and services to key national account end-users.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)
- Develop and enhance customer relationships throughout the customer hierarchy. Including executives, directors, managers, and representatives of construction, real estate, design, and engineering
- Manage overall sales process, setting metrics for success and customer growth
- Collaborate with internal Product teams to define business requirements for features & capabilities that enable our customers to recognize value
- Anticipate, communicate and facilitate customer needs and/or product enhancements
- Identifying new business opportunities within existing and new national accounts
- Drive innovation through understanding customer needs and market conditions
- Display initiative, self-motivation and deliver high quality results along with meeting all expectations for both customers and internal stakeholders
Education and Skills (Minimum Experience Required)
- Bachelor's Degree or 5 years equivalent work experience
- Five years of relevant work experience in lighting/electrical industry preferred
- Healthcare vertical experience preferred
- Key Account/National Account experience preferred
- Strong customer service focus with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to create presentations and present to customers and key stakeholders
- Must be organized and possess excellent time management skills while managing multiple projects
Travel
- 25-50% travel required

The range for this position is $100,700.00 to $181,200.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
