We are seeking an experienced and innovative project leader to join our dynamic Supply Chain Strategy team. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in mobilizing product segmentation, supply chain network and productivity strategies to capture supply chain advantages. Your expertise will ensure that our products and processes in these spaces not only lead industry performance but also optimize effectiveness for our operational competitiveness. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

 

  • Product Segmentation: In collaboration with product management and operations, plan and execute projects that enable product segmentation strategy to capture supply chain advantages in service, productivity and cash flow.  Identitify and develop impactful opportunities within product segmentation not visible thru a demand shaping lens.         

 

  • Productivity:  Lead redesign on ABL's approach to productivity from the executive leadership to shop floor to supplier perspective.  Facilitate the organization through a series of workshops to outline how we want to evaluate productivity and  make the performance visible/traceable.  Includes data analytic work to understand how today's metrics fall short.          

 

  • Project Management:  Work closely with product management, distribution, sourcing, finance and manufacturing teams to lead  project(s).  Lead the specific project planning and coordination from (1)work breakdown, (2) scheduling, (3) risk management, (4) budgeting (resources & expenses) and (5) communications.  Champion needed change management activities.  Responsibilities include (1) defining and gaining alignment on objectives, scope and structure & (2) execution to acquire results on-time and on-budget        

 

  • Collaboration:  Foster strong collaboration between product management, distribution, sourcing, finance and manufacturing teams to ensure seamless integration of principles. Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing to drive a unified approach.  Facilitate discussions, brainstorms, alignment and conflict management to enable how to execute the strategy and implement needed processes.        

 

  • Risk Management:  Anticipate and mitigate potential challenges related to service requirements, traceability, data integrity and timely execution. Identify constraints and potential failure points to develop proactive solutions that minimize disruptions        

 

  • Performance Tracking:  Develop metrics and KPIs to monitor the success and impact of the projects across processes impacted. Regularly assess the service improvements, efficiency gains, and cost savings achieved.        

  • Standardization:  Lead and/or collaborate on developing and implementing standard work in product segmentation, productivity, project management and/or disciplines of the projects.        

 

  • Better Smarter Faster: Project wise, ensures integration of BSF operating system in projects to ensure appropriately engage in organization's cadence and content.  Organization wise, leads, coaches and participates in BSF events like Art of the Possible to improve ABL processes.        

 

  • Supply Chain Network:  Facilitate the collaboration across supply chain to analyze strategic options for how we organize and invest in the supply chain infrastructure from supplier to operations to DC.             

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree 
  • 7+ years of relevant experience 
  • 2+ years project management and manufacturing industry
  • Project Management Experience        
  • Problem Solving Expertise  
  • Supply Chain Management Knowledge      
  • Data Analysis Experience     
  • Lean Management Knowledge        
  • Communication (verbal, written) Experience    
  • Cross-functional Collaboration Experience

Preferred Skills and Experience

 

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Project Management, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
  • 5 years project management and manufacturing industry

The range for this position is $74,700.00 to $167,900.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
