Job Summary

 

The IT Sourcing Manager provides sourcing leadership and support to Acuity's tech spend globally. This person will support sourcing and management of the software, hardware, and support service contracts across the enterprise.

 

The scope of the work includes managing supplier renewals for existing software/services, strategic sourcing of new requirements, and the execution of category strategy in close coordination with process partners across business segments and functions.
 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

 

  • Negotiates renewal contracts for software agreements across the enterprise.
  • Aligns with the tech process partners on the terms, timelines, supplier performance management, and alignment with the strategy.  
  • Collaborates with finance and legal to ensure that contracts and reporting align with Acuity's corporate standards        
  • Supports the sourcing of new requirements.  
  • Work with process partners to develop the scope of requirements, perform market analysis, run RF(x), lead supplier selection process, Negotiation/Contract, Implement project, and support management of supplier SLA's.        
  • Support the forecasting of costs and development of budgets.  
  • Partner with finance and business leads to establish 12 month outlook on cost, continually improve analytics capabilities.  
  • Support development of category strategy and supporting analysis.
  • Further develop analysis of contract terms and category plans.
  • Performs research on new and emerging technologies that will affect our sourcing strategy.
  • Lays out all applications across the organization looking for consolidation and synergy opportunities.        
  • Works on personal development to further the skillsets and capabilities of self, peers, and process partners.        

Skills and Minimum Experience Required

 

  • Bachelor Degree in supply chain, engineering, business or equivalent experience
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience                
  • Knowledge of Strategic Sourcing Process.
  • Experience leading the strategic sourcing process with cross-functional partners            
  • Strong data analysis capabilities.          
  • General understanding and knowledge of software contracting concepts, language, and strategies.             
  • Negotiation & Contracting Experience

  • Creativity & Collaborative Growth Mindset            

Preferred Skills and Experience

 

  • CPSM Certification is a plus    
  • Familiarity with excel, power bi, and power apps preferred

The range for this position is $59,700.00 to $134,100.00. Placement within this range may vary, depending on the applicant’s experience and geographic location.
